AT; No matter what we say about the activities that took place back in those early days we are speculating. We just don’t have the record to prove, or disapprove, any specific transaction. Let each individual pick their own dates based upon their own thinking. We certainly do not need to argue about it. You and I may think that if George and Caty moved to Albemarle county to live in say 1749 or earlier, leaving his property that he and Caty lived on in Caroline since their marriage about 1742 and then traveling no short distance in 1753 to sell his property to his brother in-law in Caroline County seems impractical to us.? Although George and his family would have been living in Albemarle county for about 20 years yet there is no foot print or any evidence that he or any of his sons were there. George Jr had been married 6 or 7 years when George bought his land in Amherst.!!!
