My ancestors Donald Campbell and Ann Sinclair immigrated to Peel County, Ontario, Canada in 1832/3 from Islay with many of their children and their extended families. Donald was born c.1761 in Islay before baptismal records were kept so his parentage is unknown. His 1788 marriage record indicated that he was a resident of Kilchoman Parish at that time. I am searching for any of his siblings who may have stayed in Islay or immigrated to the southern USA during the period 1780 – 1830.
