Help! I am still needing information on MARY CAMPBELL b.1758 probably in PA, d. 19 May 1822 in Newark, Licking Co., OH. She married Samuel Elliott in 1777 supposedly in Allentown PA. They named one of their sons ALEXANDER CAMPBELL ELLIOTT b. 13 May 1788 in MD d. 23 Jan 1`844 in Ohio. His wife’s name was Jane Elliott and they named one son Alexander Campbell Elliott b. 02 Apr 18223 d. 11 Aug 1894 in Garner IA. ALex Jr married Margaret Hanawaldt. Interesting that sons were named with their middle name CAMPBELL. Not unusual, but usually indicating a connection to wife’s family.
