Sandy, The info I have from Dr. Sam Massie's genealogy is that John Spirgen Massie(called "D") was the son of Charles Massie (b.???; d. 1887) who married Sally Miller(1821-1896). Dr. Massie listed the children as: 1. Lowell- died young - no issue 2. Dirwood or Durwood m. Virginia Hatter and had 2 girls 3. Everett- married - one child [This is probably "Emrel"] 4. Margaret - married twice and moved to Ohio 5. Lucy married???- LivesinPennsylvania 6. Ella married 1st??Chittum and 2nd ??Via- one child by Chittum 7. Josie married Fletcher Cash - children 8. Doris married 1st Alla Swayer and 2nd??? with 2 daughters He only had Lonnie Maddox listed as John's wife, but no other info. Hope this helps.
