    3. Beth, I am of the Russell CO.,VA. Campbell Lineage also, but cannot connect to Henry or Abraham Campbell. My Fountain Campbell { born 1803 Amherst County, VA. ( in the Section that in 1808 became Nelson County, VA. ) } , came to Russell County, VA. in 1848 buying land from David Willis near Castlewood, VA.. Abraham was son of Henry and Jane. This whole (well almost whole) part of the Russell Co.,VA.Campbell Clan descend down from Henry and Jane. There was a Willliam there that we can not find a relationship. I am going from memory and sometimes it is not correct so I will say Henry came to Russell Co.,Va. sometime around 1790. Henry's parents were Abraham and Dorus. Inone of these lines there are some Charles. My grandfather was Charles Robert Campbell. He was born in 1870 in RichlandCo.,Ill. About three years ago I was very active on this site but this is a new e-mail address for me, abcfhist2@yahoo.com. Igavethis line back to Dougal Campbell in Scotland at that time. Looking forward to hearing from you. Beth Familyhstryman@aol.com wrote: Hello Lilly This is the first reply to my question about Charles Campbell & Mary Trotter. 3. Good Evening, I am still having problems with my computer since taken out of storage. However, my son will soon fine tune it and get me a new keyboard. Now, I have seen data pertaining to Fountain but can't remember where or when at this time. However, there is a Greg (can't remember last name at the moment)who has collected a great deal of information on the Russell Co.,CVa. CAmpbells and then there is also someone else who has the informationgoing back even further . However, all of that data iis not available to me yet. Fountain is an unusual name and there is also a Fountain Bethell from Va.area. I will see if perchance my neice will comeup and share with me the datathat I gave her earlier.then I can post it here and you folks andcorrect it or etc. Will close forthis evening, Glad tohear from you.
