Abstract of bio: Campbell, William Lee, dentist, b 19 Aut., 1858, Washington Co., Ohio. Parents were Charles henry and Patience (Root) Campbell. The father was a native of New York, born of Scotch parents. Mother was from a pioneer family in Ohio. Her father, John Root, was a pioneer and Indian fighter.(evidently much written in Ohio History). William Lee educated in Washington Co., Ohio. He started studies of dentistry at Universityof Michigan, moving to Ohio College of Dental Surgery and graduating in 1884.After practicing a year in Joliet, IL. for a year, he moved to Kansas City, MO. He married 12 May, 1885, at Joliet, IL. to Anna L. Cox., the daughter of Joshua H. Cox. At the time the bio was written, they were the parents of one son.
