This may be a little recent for the expert genealogists on this board. However, I could use some serious help. In 1900, a James (a.k.a. John B.) Campbell (b. Oct. 1873) was living in Rockbridge Co., VA, with his mother, Elizabeth (b. 1835, widow of Robert R.), sister Florance (also spelled Florence G.) (b. 1867), and Florance's two "basterd" children, Netty (b. 1882) and Cleaven or Clioven (b. 1893). In 1910, Elizabeth was living with her daughter Charlotte and Charlotte's husband in Slab Fork, WV. According to the census, Elizabeth had 4 living children. Based on my other records, this means either Florence or John had to have died between 1900 and 1910 (all her other children are accounted for). I have searched endlessly. Florance, John, Cleaven/Clioven, and Netty, all disappeared off the face of the Earth after 1900. No death records, no marriage records, no census records, nothing. I would be greatly indebted to anyone who could find anything to indicate their whereabouts after 1900. Their other family remembers (siblings) were located in Raleigh and Fayette Counties, WV, and Rockbridge and Augusta Counties, VA. Steve
