William Campbell b. 1754 Albemarle Co VA, died 4-16-1836 Nelson Co., VA He was a Rev. War Vet. 6-12-1809 he recorded 80 acres on the Piney River, at Amherst Co VA. The 1830 census lists him at Nelson Co VA. Deed: dated 5-19-1828 to brother John Campbell, William Campbell is identified as the brother to John, therefor as the SON to George Campbell and wife Caty. That record is found in Amherst Co VA Deed Book 1857-1852, page 19-20. Spouse: Sarah Goode, d/o Daniel Goode and Phoebe Wright, married 12-22-1785. Kids: #1. Washington Campbell b. 1810, m. 2-14-1831 Nelson Co., Mary Thompson b. 1808, d/o James Thompson, Sr and Elizabeth Stevens.
