Children of Major Laurence Campbell of Amherst Co.(DAR 227.110) Wife: Henrietta Catlett North Caroliana: JAMES CAMPBELL who married and moved to North Carolina and died before 1813 according to the will of his father. CATLETT CAMPBELL who went to Orange Co., North Carolina where according to Wheeler's History of North Carolina, pag. 337, in 1804-5 and in 1808-9, he was a member of the House of Commons for Hillsboro. Kentucky: LAWRENCE CAMPBELL, JR. was b. in Nov. 1763, enlisted in Amherst Co., VA in 1781, and served six months in Captain Geoerge Penn's Co., Col. Scott's Virginia Regiment. He moved to GREEN COUNTY, KY where on Sept. 17, 1832 he applied for a pension as S.30912. Hope this helps someone.
