I have been getting numerous undelivered mail from the postmaster on mail I didn't send. My ISP support guy told me it started with the Campbell newsletter. Someone on here has a virus that is duplicating our addresses so that our addresses are used to send to spam sites and then the mail is returned to us. The person who has this may be unaware. I am getting 30 or more of these returned mails a day. The ISP guy traced it back for me to the Campbell newsletter. Could it be that one of the email addresses of the Campbell list members is invalid? This would cause every message sent to the list to come back as having had an invalid message. I have gotten these before on the Iron county list I administer. I go in and removet the bad address if rootsweb does not do it first. Marge Campbell Everyone should check their system for virus often. You should have a valid antivirus program installed on your system, don't expect your AOL or other account virus protectors to keep your system free of virus, they won't unless you downloaded a program they supply and install it. You must also update often. I use a free antivirus program I downloaded from http://www.avast.com . The home version is free, covers everything, emails, instant messaging, etc... And automatically updates itself. I have mine set pretty high, it will alert me if a message has no subject, if a message has too many blank spaces between lines, etc. Oh, and I like the junk mail filter.. Works great. If you already have virus software, disregard this. If you can't afford good software, this is an excellent alternative, and NO I am not being compensated.. Just that this is the best antivirus software I have ever had in since I bought my first computer in 1983!
