Dear Mr. Harris, and all others, Here is what little I have gathered on Patrick Campbell, of Botetourt Co, VA. His spouse was Ann Ware b. 1754 probably at Albemarle Co VA, d/o Edward Ware, Sr and Leticia Powell. Edward Ware, Sr lived in the Western side of Amherst Co VA, near the Buffalo Creek area, or Peddlar area. Patrick Campbell married Ann Ware on 11-3-1774 Amherst Co VA. Marriage record states Patrick Campbell is of Botetourt Co., VA. Patrick Campbell, his WILL was filed 4-8-1778, Amherst Co VA, wife was Ann Ware/Weir. His BROTHERS were: James Campbell and John Campbell, his brother in law was James Ware/Weir. I also have, Patrick Campbell of Botetourt Co VA, to Ann Powell, 11-3-1774, witness: James Ware and Ben Pilared. This is marriage license of Amherst Co VA, 1:6. The son of Patrick and Ann is James Campbell, and he married Sarah SEAT. The above information came to me from Joe Ware and Sandy Rowe and Bonnie Davis. I saw that in the 1870 census at Temperance, Amherst Co VA, my own ancestor listed as Edith Campbell (Eady B. Wright Campbell) was living next door to John and Victoria Ware. That is my only real connection to any WARE family line.
