According to the census the John and Stephen Campbell (brothers) in Warrick co, IN was from VA. They both got land there about 1830. Do not confuse this John and Stephen (brothers) who were in Vigo co, IN. This Stephen got land in what is now Vigo co in 1813 and John got adjoining land in 1815 or 16. Stephen died in JoDavies co IL in 1828 (rupture) and John died 1850 in Parke co, IN. Record states John Campbell of Parke co, IN came from MA to NY to Butler co, OH and after his wife died in 1815 he moved his family to Sullivan co, IN. ----- Original Message ----- From: "a.b. craig" <abcfhist2@yahoo.com> To: <CAMPBELL-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Tuesday, November 01, 2005 11:32 AM Subject: Re: [CAMPBELL] N.C. I was only able to be there for @ four hours, and I had not even touched the tip of the iceberg of information yet. I think, not sure, that some of these Campbells in the data there were from N.
