    3. In 1840, there were several Campbell families in Brooke County, Va., now W. Va. Heads of household include about 3 Alexanders, Daniel, David, William, James, and Robert. I believe I am descended from Daniel. I understand that Alexander Campbell, who started the Campbellite movement, was also in Brooke County and was possibly one of the Alexanders listed in the 1840 census. Does anyone have information concerning these Campbells? How were they connected? Who were their wives, parents, siblings, children? Thank you. Lee Ann Dauphinot
