His father was born in CT. The family had to move to WI between 1870-1880. On the 1870 census, Jenny is 18 & the other children are Much younger. I think Jenny is not a child of Mary or Steven, unless the child was with someone else in 1860. Jenny would have been 2 years old.. No Jenny Campbell found that age who was born in IN. There are a few Jenny ???? Born in Indiana who lived in IA in 1860.. And a ton of Jennys born in IN, living in IN in 1860... No Jenny Campbell. Which census showed Steven born in CT???? He married Mary Rose Mc Clellan in IA and they moved to Vernon, WI around 1850. On one census the census taker states him to be from CT in an other year it is stated he came from PA. As we ALL know the state boundaries were changing rapidly during the late 1700 and even into and including the 1800. So his family could have been any where from VA north. Feed back anyone?
