    3. Steve-- This Robert R. Campbell that you refer to in your posting--would that have been Robert R. Campbell, b. 1818, d. 1890, the son of Joel and Esther Shaw Campbell? 3. Hello to Deb and to Steven, According to my files, which are in part based on the research of Steven Campbell, here is how the family line looks: #1. George Campbell and Caty of Amherst Co VA #2. Edward Campbell, m. Frances Cameron, they moved to Rockbridge Co VA. #3. Joel Campbell, m. Esther Shaw 1809 Rockbridge Co VA. #4. Robert R. Campbell b. 1818-21 d. 1890's Rockbridge Co VA, m. Elizabeth Weeks, she was his second wife. #5. Riley A. Campbell b 1856 VA d. 1932 WV, m. Dicey Moran b. 1852 VA. Apparently, Steven Campbell is listing James (aka John B. ) Campbell b. 1873, and Florence Campbell b. 1867 as children of Robert and Elizabeth. Steven: do you have a full list of kids for Robert, by both of his wives? Please post if you do, as it might help others researching.
