Dear Marge, What about: Cornelius Campbell b. 1781 VA, s/o Joel Campbell, s/o Henry Campbell and Charity. Cornelius died before 1832 in VA. Cornelius was married to Nancy Ann Lively, her brother was MATHEW Lively. Cornelius would be nephew to AMBROSE Campbell. Could the name Mathew Campbell be in honor of Mathew Lively, brother in law of Cornelius? Could the name Ambrose Campbell be in honor of Ambrose, s/o Henry Campbell and Charity, of the Amherst Co VA area? Cornelius Campbell was living in 1820 at Lynchburg, VA. The kids of Cornelius and Nancy were: Joel, James, Mary, Elizabeth, Nancy. I have a full listing of info on Joel, but JAMES is a mystery to me. Mathew Lively went to Bowling Green, warren Co KY.
