AT and others, I can not tell you how much it meant to me to find my Aunt Florrie's daughter and having her attend the last reunion we had, but her sharing the history her mother wrote as well as some drawings of the homes that she had lived in growing up with personal memories of those places were one of the greatest things that have come about in my research. I do know that there are mistakes in her history but that doesn't matter just being able to see the family through her eyes is a blessing. I also have some notes that a "cousin" wrote who lives in Afton and has her whole life. She was raised by Florries sister, Henrainn. I had the pleasure of knowing both of them although I didn't know Aunt Florrie as well. A.T. I agree with you that your living there gives alot of insight into the culture there. I guess my dream would be to return to the area to live after retirement.
