#1. Francis Wright b. about 1708 Westmoreland Co VA, he married Mary Hawkins. They raised a family and settled in Amherst Co VA. Their descendants married many times into the Campbell family in Amherst Co VA. #2. Lt. Col. Richard Campbell b. about 1730-45 VA, married Rebecca Hawkins, sister of Betsey Hawkins, aka Mrs. John Sevier (is this the same man who was 1st Gov. of TN?) Benjamin Hawkins is probably related to Rebecca and Betsey, prehaps as brother. Could Mary, Betsey, Benjamin and Betsey all be from the same Hawkins family of Central VA.? Best regards, Lilly Martin
