Va. Which was formed From Albemarle Co. in 1761, Albemarle Co. VA/ was formed in 1744 From Goochland & Louisa. Louisa Co. Va. was formed From Hanover Co. Va. in 1742. Hanover Co. S. the First George Campbell Settled in New Kent County in Early 1700__?, When it was in New Kent County Boundry, They very likely Settled in the area that is to day Nelson County Va. & their County Name Changed With the Formation of new Counties & not by the Campbell Family Moving. To give my contention Credit, George Campbell owned land in the area that is to day Nelson County when it is shown that he FIRST owned land.
