Hi Marvin Just checking in after arriving in TX... sorry, but I have no other information on the NJ Campbell'sbut that which I submitted to the mail list. My dsl will be hooked up next Tuesday (delay in getting furniture here). Once I get the dsl here I will start my research again. I hope to follow the NJ Campbell's to see where they end up. I do know that in 1852 or 1853, Nancy Clawson Campbell was at a family reunion in NY where her daughter Letitia was living ( Brooklyn newspaper story on the reunion Feb 4, 1852-3...have to get my files here to get the date). I have never found a copy of this article.. it is listed in a DAR application. There was a strong tie between the Dr. Melanctom Freeman family of Metuchen NJ & Ellis R Campbell family.
