I am also looking for Campbells from New Jersey. My husband's great great grandfather was John F. Campbell who was born in New York state in 1833 but always stated in each census that his father was born in New Jersey. However I do not have the father's first name. Is there any chance that you have George's father's first name? And have any of the family joined the DAR so that there would be a record there that we could search?
