Patricia, I don't see the Thaxton name often so I'm thinking there could be a connection. My father was Van Thaxton Campbell d: 1977. I don't find the Thaxton name in his Campbell line but could be thru marriage. His father was Ervin Haywood Campbell, and his father Hugh Campbell.
