Some of you folks might remember that I am descended from Dr. William Wright and his wife Rachel S. Camden. He was the son of Jesse Wright and Dicey Gillaspie; grandson of Benjamin and Elizabeth Wright and George and Mary Gillaspie. Several years ago I was given one (of several) boxes of items that belonged to the Wright/Camden family. In this box was a cloth receipt register from Dr. Wright which still contained hundreds of documents, including letters written during the Civil War. Also in this box was a ledger from the law practice of John F. Camden! I am trying to transcribe all of the letters, receipts, deeds, bonds, etc. that were in this box. There are numerous original documents which include Campbells and here are a few that I've completed. Thought someone might be interested!! Sylvia William H. Campbell - Rent from L. Thompson Paul C.
