Folks, As a researcher with the same brick wall for over thirty years, having followed countless undocumented trails, spent untold hours researching posted but incorrect lineages, and spent unknown assets on materials and postage, I would urge very strongly anyone doing research on a line as vast and complicated as the Campbells to support the DNA Project. If you can't be the one submitting the sample, offer to underwrite a portion of the cost, however small, of someone willing. There is a very real chance you will find something unique in your markers to guide you in the direction needed to find that single document to overcome your wall or at least to connect you to the proper group with whom to exchange information. I figure I could have saved about two decades of work for a couple hundred dollars. Housework even pays better than that.
