Hi Ann, Well Mary Ellen Campbell was my grandmother so I can tell you more about her. She was b: 27 July 1844 in Muskingum Co., OH. Married my grandfather George W. Williams 30 Aug 1866 in Coles Co., IL. It wasn't until after the 1880 and before the 1900 census that they moved at first to Choctaw, Indian Territory (OK).Then in the 1910 census they were living in Pittsburg Co., Savanna, OK where she died in McAlester OK in 1919, and he in 1923. Her obituary in a OK newspaper said she had been a resident in McAlester for 32 years. I miss spoke in an earlier e-mail when I said her mother was Mary Morris, that was her grandmother. My age is catching up with me & I can't rely on saying things anymore without looking at my paperwork. Mary Ellen Campbell was the granddaughter of Presocia (Lane) Lane and Benjamin Lane.
