Unfortunately, the Chiles/Campbell connection wasn't with Caty (--) Campbell. As I've said before, Mary Chiles had a website that gave the Chiles/Childs family history chart. It's no longer is online--I'm assuming because she has passed away and someone removed the page from the Web. She was born in 1920 and someone recently told me they thought she was now deceased. Anyway, one thing I do remember was that when I scanned the family history chart, the Chiles/Campbell connection was at a very obscure point that didn't seem very relevant to me at the time. Had it been Caty (--) Campbell, I definitely would have remembered that detail. My biggest questions is regarding the place I first heard "Caty" Campbell even mentioned: http://www.geocities.com/sandmot2002/pafg18.htm#4881 This was information posted by Sandmot. The info specifically regarding "Caty" was this: Catherine(Caty) (--) CAMPBELL was born in 1725. She died in 1797. She married George(2) CAMPBELL in 1745. So, since our recent postings have been related to sources and facts and records... where did Sandmot get any of those dates in the first place? The only document I've ever seen regarding Caty Campbell is George Campbell's will. It doesn't state any ages, or marriage dates, or anything. I found some property records in the 1790's for a Caty Campbell, and they do cease around 1797, but that doesn't say to me she died that year, just that she stopped buying and selling land. Anyone have an ideas?
