I have been looking for my wife's father's parents. Nothing seemed to work. I have found the following info, and am wondering if I am on the right track. 1880 Census Heidelburg, Jasper County MS. William B. Campbell 28, Wife Rebecca 25. 1st Child Minnie 3. 2nd Child Lillie 2. 3rd Child William E. 1. I cannot locate the 1890 census for Jasper Cty. MS If you look at the 1900 Jasper Cty, MS census, William B, 47 , Rebecca is now 39. The children are now 20 yrs older, still at home, and have 5 younger brothers and sisters. Hubbert 19, Fred 17, Robert L 15, Edward 13, Lelia 10. HOWEVER! William E. is now Elijah W., 21. First name and middle name transposed, ages are the same. 1910 Census has William E. Campbell and Flora with 2 girls, Maggie L and Flora C These were my wife's Aunts. 1920 Census has "Duck Campbell"?? and Flora with same girls and now a son James B. James B was wife's father. If anyone has any info on this family, please let me know if I am on the right track. bud
