    3. I am looking for any info on the Murdoch Campbell Family and he assumed to be born in Perth, Ontario in 1818. He had a son named Kenneth Campbell assumed to be born 1831 in Ontario. Kenneth died 1879 in Alexandria, Ontario and he was married to Catherine MacDonald. Any kind of info on this family would be very much appreciated. Thank you, David Hudson

    3. David, Perhaps, like all of us have, you made a typo in your message. Murdoch would have been 13 when Cameron was born otherwise. Have you had a look at the 1871 census on the Canadian federal government site? http://www.collectionscanada.ca/02/02010803_e.html Remember the census takers often got the spelling wrong so do general searches. The index can be incorrect also. I found an Orrett family in the 1881 Canadian census listed as O'Neill! That took a lot of searching. Leave out the last name and just look for the person using the first name or vice versa. The 1881 Canadian census is available free at the familysearch.org site. Use the advanced search. Ask more questions and let us know if you have any luck!
