Phyllis; Great information on Neil and Lawrence. Much thanks Also, we know from Alexander Brown's research that George (D1791), Henry and James came to what is Amherst County today, or became of age between 1761 and 1776. Plus we know from Major William Cabell's muster roster that these same 3 Campbell's, George (D1791), James and Henry were with Major Cabell, and his command, plus Lt Colonel Pope and Major General Marques Lafayette on 21 June 1781 at Yorktown during the RW!!! Patrick Campbell seems to be the first Campbell to arrive in what is now Amherst County, arriving prior to 1761, according to Alexander Brown.
