I was thinking about mainly "Georges" from pre-1800. I think it would be safe to take all the "Georges" from Pennsylvania to South Carolina. I know we have 3 immigration records into VA and MD from before 1800 on "Georges" (1742, 1744, and another year). Two wills (1776 and 1791). And a will of a Gilbert Campbell that mentions an infant George. There were no adult George Campbells in Virginia in 1704, according to the tithable tables. This should be able to narrow our focus. Anyone have any ideas on how we can post this George information in an organized way?
