I've been trying to find information for several years about the father of William Campbell (1760-1820) who married Nancy "Anny" Couch. Wm and Nancy are my gggg grandparents. Some of the information says that John Patrick Campbell and Elizabeth James are the parents of this William Campbell, but I have never see absolute proof of this. These same sources say that James was buried in Muhlenberg County Ky. I really and truly doubt that this is the same James Campbell.
