I have census information on my line back to a Stephen (various spellings) Campbell ( b1825 which state his father to have been from Maryland, PA, CT . I lost them in documentation prior to IA though they came from Indiana prior to IA. I've been unable to substantiate their presence in Indiana. Records become very sketchy. I can not tell where Steven died and is buried. Since this is an uncommon name in the Campbell research I thought we might have some common ancestry.
