AT, I find this information.......vvveerrrrryy interesting. What I found interesting was the nickname...."Buck" ... I have a great uncle, Allen "Buck" CAMPBELL b. 1790s GA, and until you happened to mention this series of nicknames... no one had managed to figure out...how come this particular nickname. The area was Wilkes Co. GA, but his older two brothers Benejah and Philander...were born in NC. Atleast Benejah the eldest was b. NC. Their suspected area was Johnston, Wake and Cumberland Co.'s NC. The WATKINS family were in the Johnston and Wake Co. NC area. We're still looking....to find this particular group in Carolina's: Charles CAMPBELL, listed as "Senr" on a 1796 GA deed [land bought from son, Levi, and... [witnessed by son, Charles...and...
