I would appreciate hearing from anyone concerning the final burial place of Benjamin Campbell...He was born 1785 in Northampton County, North Carolina and migrated to Duck Hill (Carroll County) Mississippi in 1835....In 1871 Duck Hill was part of the newly formed Montgomery County...He signed his last will and testament in Jan. 1873...He being a very large planter at the time, you would think that he would be buried on his land in a family plot...Upon searching the Jackson, Mississippi Archives a couple of weeks ago, I located a book there that had a page for the slaves he had once owned...Only one slave age 88 was listed....One of his sisters, Elizabeth (Campbell) Fox lived and died in Yalobusha County...His next door neighbor Richard Eskridge has a very large monument of himself in the Eskridge family cemetary...Benjamin's stepfather John A. Binford is buried in the Binford Cemetary....But no Benjamin Campbell or his wife to be found....Any help will be much appreciated..Bob Rigdon...Dallas
