My husbands grandfather was a Campbell born in Nelson County Virginia. I have tracked back Lawrence Campbell born Scotland 1735 and died in Amherst VA 1814. I can't figure out his parents to continue backwards. I read something yesterday that said possibly Lawrence, Henry, George and Neil were brothers and immigrated here from Scotland to Virginia and Lawrence, Henry and George all 3 ended up in Amherst VA? I am not sure of this at this point but if you have any info on these 4 men I would love to know about it, but especially Lawrence.
