My gggrandmother was Mary Campbell, born 07 Sep 1856 in Wisconsin, died 17 Sep 1937 in Sandpoint, ID. Her dad was Thomas Campbell born in Ireland 22 Dec 1825, died in Sandpoint, ID 9 May 1906. He was married to Catherine Wilson of Peebles, Scotland 1832-1914. If the British census is the right one, Thomas and Catherine married and lived with her parents in Peebles until they emigrated to Wisconsin in the 1850's. They moved to Sandpoint, ID and eventually had 10 kids. Thomas is my brick wall. There are obituaries and biographies about him in Idaho, but nothing back farther than that he was from Ireland. -Joanna
