A.T., actually I am seriously considering DNA testing.  I'm pretty new to all this, and haven't ruled much of anything out, especially considering how little I know that far back at this point. What I do know is that I have only a tenuous link between the John Campbell (ohhhhh those Johns, so very many of them)  I can confidently trace to in Henry Co, KY, and the John Campbell whom I have as good a link as I'm gonna get back to Matthew of Frederick Co, MD.  Heck I can only find Matthew on the 1800 cencus in Frederick Co, MD anyway, not the 1790.   Just out of curiousity when do you postulate your folks came to PA?  I am dragging my family into this (actually they are enjoying it alot), and figure my dad might offer a sample when I'm ready.
