    1. [Campbell] Campbell's from AR & LA- for Kathy B
    2. Marge Campbell
    3. Hi Kathy Arkansas became a territory in 1819, and a state in 1836 (the 25th state), so your Sara would not have been born there in 1809. It was a part of the Louisiana purchase of 1803. What is now Arkansas became a part of the Missouri territory in 1812. In 1819, when Missouri applied for statehood, ongress created the Arkansas territory & included what is now Oklahoma. Have you checked the formation of the counties you are interested in? Remember for very early AR records..pre 1819...look at Missouri & Louisiana.
