Unfortunately the book "The Campbells of Martintown..." is mainly a genealogy of the various Campbell families in the area of Martintown, Glengarry Co, Ontario and gives very little information on the particular family I'm looking for and nothing further about his weaving. I suspect because none of the family was left in the area at the time the book was created. There may have been descendants of the daughter Janett but so far I've not been able to locate a marriage or death record for her. It would be interesting to learn more about his weaving and where he was trained. I'll keep working on it.
