I am also looking for Campbell's from Ontario, and my James Campbell may be related to the Campbells of Martintown Ontario. James Campbell was born in Canada about 1835, then came to Michigan in the 1860's. I can't find anything about his time in Canada, no parents no siblings, zip...     3. Hi Susan; 1835 is a tough time in Ontario to locate folks, Census records aren't much help and it's before civil registration got going as you probably already know. If you can find it there is a book called "The Campbells and Other Glengarry-Stormont and Harrington Pioneers" by R.B Campbell pub 1983 that might be helpful.
