Hi Susan; 1835 is a tough time in Ontario to locate folks, Census records aren't much help and it's before civil registration got going as you probably already know. If you can find it there is a book called "The Campbells and Other Glengarry-Stormont and Harrington Pioneers" by R.B Campbell pub 1983 that might be helpful.
