My GGGrandfather was Joseph Stephen Campbell, his father was William Coleman Cameron Campbell known as Colie, born in Jan. 1808 in Salem Va but died in Macon County, NC. He was a Methodist Circuit Rider Preacher.   I have not been able to find his parents.  On a census it states his father was born in Ireland and his mother in Va.  If anyone has any information on my Campbell's it woud be greatly appreciated.  I have been searching for 4 years.  I did find an entry on ancestry that he may be from a James Campbell line.  Please contact me at [email protected] if you have any info for me.  Thank you, Bev Luther
