They were married a short time when she gave birth to a daughter, also named Mary Ellen. Though I have not researched death records, the information that has been bandied about shows that Mary Ellen Miller Campbell died during child birth. M.V. and M.E.'s daughter, Mary Ellen, married Van Buren Mays. Martin Van Buren Campbell married his second wife, Emmaline Davenport, a few years following Mary Ellen Miller's death. They had 13 children. Details are included within the file I will be sending to Rosemary. Thanks for the copy of the marriage license. I had not checked there for this particular information on Martin V. I did locate his and Emmaline's marriage in Nelson.
