AT, Thanks, I googled the location after I knew which state to use. I was inquiring for a friend, Larry May. He was born Laurence Daniel Campbell son of Elsie Althea Campbell in Alameda County, CA. He was adopted by the May's shortly after his baptism at age 5 in 1938. If the reunion was of Campbell's in CA he was hoping someone there might know of his mother, to find out more information on his birth family. His father was Bill Tagay from the Philippines, his parents were never married. His mother married a Mr. ? Long after his adoption. He has two sisters from information in the court records and would like to find out if they remember him if they are still living. The reunion is for all those who come through the Campbell/Cash/Mays/Massie/Maddox/Bolling/Wright/Whitehead lines, and all others (you know who you are!) Date: October 8, 2005 at the Old Fleetwood School @ Massie's Mill, Nelson Co., VA . The building is handicap accessible. Doors open at 10:00 am, lunch at noon. We set up our genealogy displays in a separate room. All are welcome to bring their genealogy, books, albums, photos, etc. to set up in our genealogy room. Bring what you have and share! There will be a printer/copier available for a small fee. We ask every family to bring a potluck food to share. We need about 4 ice chests for ice for soda. A donation of $5 or whatever you can afford is also requested to help pay for the $250 hall rental and $150 for postage and printing of letters/invitations, along with other expenses. There will be a special meeting on Friday evening, October 7, at 6:00 pm for all willing to help set up for the reunion. Please bring fixings for sandwiches and/or desserts. This is a fun time to meet those you've been e-mailing for the last year - put faces to names. This is a big event - we usually have about 100 to 125 Campbell cousins each year.
