    3. Cal, I, personally, am not familiar withthe Campbells of that area. Perhapsthereis someone else outthere who does know. Beth Cal Campbell <bbatdega@charter.net> wrote: Beth, I have almost all descendants of my g-grandfather John J Campbell, b. 1846/9 in SC (Darlington) and Cynthia Jane Elmore, b. Jan 1858 in Sumter/Darlington, SC, but I have found nothing on John J Campbell,'s parents or siblings. One census says his father was from NC and another states that he was from Ireland. There are no records on him in Darlington. Any help would be appreciated. If I can be of any help to you, let me know. 1. DNA Program on the Discovery Channel
    2. If you are possibly interested in DNA testing or ancient genealogy / anthropology check out the BBC show the Blood of Vikings. This is the same title as the BBC series from a couple of years ago, and it may be a first-time showing in the US. It's scheduled for 6:00pm Eastern, 3:00pm Pacific on the Discovery Channel's Science Channel. If you've never visited the BBC website for this program, it's worth a look: http://www.bbc.co.uk/history/programmes/bloodofthevikings/
