    3. One thing I haven't done yet, is sort out just how all those Campbells buried at Sandpoint are related....I wonder if I untangle that list, plug it in to my software, and run more searches, maybe I'll turn up some new scrap..... I sure had my fingers crossed that the Clan Campbell folks would find some long lost family tree that solved all the mysteries :) Oh well....I love a challenge! -Joanna

    1. [Campbell] Can't we all just get along
    2. Hello Cousins and Fellow lists members, I think we're turning a molehill into a mountain here over something silly. Cousin AT, please understand that us citified folks (I'd go further and include us folks from the north) do have a hard time reading some of the posts, simply because of a language (and dare I say cultural) difference. Your last email contained references from which I have never heard, and am trying to decipher. This can be very frustrating for us sometimes. I have no doubt that you are well meaning and can provide a lot of knowledge, and I'm very thankful in particular to you and Bucky for all the information and suggestions you have both provided for my Lawrence CAMPBELL line. I just hope that you can be as patient with us. You definitely didn't deserve any of the harsh criticisms that were lobbed your way (and although I'm a relative youngster from the north, my parents always raised me to "Respect my elders"). Generally, I find people from the south most kind and cordial...as you have been. And I thank you. Everyone else might be wise to consider what this is...a message board...where messages and communication are shared. It really is a social site for it's members to share information, and not just that which pertains only to our direct families. Ideally, each one of us can help the other in some way to overcome our brick walls. I believe that is what cousin AT is attempting to do. Are we so busy trying to track down ghosts that we ignore the living? Cousin AT and Cousin Bucky have so much to share, a real living history and culture, it would be a shame if we let these living testaments to our families, our stories, our country pass with a dismissive comment. Do unto others... Cousin Rob IMPORTANT NOTICE Email from OOCL is confidential and may be legally privileged. If it is not intended for you, please delete it immediately unread.
