    3. >From "Tell Me More Ancestor Stories, Grandma!" by Diana J. Dennett: "Ignacio/Ygnacio Vallejo, from 1774, was a resident in Motnerey and a soldier at the Presidio. He was the father of General Mariano Vallejo, who lived within the Presidio as a child. Ignacio hac contracted for the hand of Maria Antonia Isabel Lugo (the sister of my g-g-g-g-g-grandmother Rosa Maria Lugo), in 1776, when he assisted at her birth. They married when she was 15. Five of their eight daughters married into the prominent Soberanes, Amesti, Cooper, Leese, and Alvarado families. Ignacio and Maria Antonia also had five sons. Note: there are many women named Maria Antonia and Isabel/Isabel in our family." You might try e-mailing Diana at: parkplace@redshift.com for additional information about early Vallejo members. Diana has done extensive genealogy research into her ancestors and published them in the above mentioned book. >Seeking information on Maria Isadora Vallejo, her parents Ignacio Vicente >Ferrer Vallejo and mother Maria Antonia Isabala Lugo. >Thank you for your help. >James Burrow --------------------- Anita C.
