Earlier today someone on one of the lists I subscribe to asked about a cemetery at Soledad, CA. At that time I mentioned that one of my ancestors had been buried there in 1919. Since then I opened my mail and found a self-purchased gift from Santa in the form of a Thomas Bros. map book on Monterey County, CA. Page 289A shows a map of Soledad and says that on Metz Rd. there is a Soledad Cemetery. On line telephone directory shows following: Soledad Cemetery District 831-678-3491 1711 Metz Rd Soledad, CA 93960-2805 Think this is the place that was being looked for.
