Don't know if there is any relation or not but there was a farmer, named PRYOR, in the Chualar & Gonzales area of the Salinas Valley. I think his ranch was between River Road & Hwy 101 between the Chualar turn-off & the Gonzales bridge over the Salinas River. These holdings would have been from at least the 1940s thru 1970s (prob bef 1940 &, I think his sons were farming the land in the 1970s). My dad was a farmer & I can remember he & my uncle talking abt farming the PRYOR land. Wish I could be more specific abt location.
