Hi Mr. Black, Thank you. This is great. I live in Dinuba, California, but my husband and I are avid Monterey Co. researchers. I am 73 yrs old, married to the same person ( Raymond) for 51 years, six children- 14 grandchildren and 4 step grandchildren at this time 16 great grandchildren , I was born in NC, where my ancestors were the first settlers, My children were all born in NC, Virginia with the exception of the youngest who is a ninth generation Californian. My husband ancestors are ammixture of a father from Denmark, great grandparents from Ireland, France and early Monterey Co, Hispanic. He is a descendant of the Alverado, Bojorquez, Castillo, Escobar, Garcia, Lugo, Vallejo families. We are both "genealogy nuts" collecting and connecting families that connect to his direct line. Which everyone is just about connected. We collect information on any person during that period of California's History. When they connect we add them to our computer. If not we save the information and have it availlable to help others, which we do quite often. ( Usually they end up connecting). Am interested in exchanging information , and finding all those "cousins.". This hobby has led us to met some of the most interesting people through out the country. Bettie Dall a misplaced Tar Heal
