I also am interested in the Ingersolls from Marin County,somewhere along the line the Ingersolls and Millers married,now at this time ,it is only speculation on my part that they came from Michigan to Marin to be near an uncle by the name of Frank Miller,his sister Juliette C. Miller -born 1839 either in Ohio or Michigan ,married John S. Ingersoll at Niles Exchange on August 4,1856 ( he died in 1866 in either Missouri or Michigan) and according to family letters and legion,Juliette and her two children Della(born 1857 in Michigan) and Frank (born 1862 in Missouri) went to Marin County California, so your Frank and mine most likely are the same. write me and lets compare notes.
